Using alternative spelling, gibberish or wrong spelling in order to avoid the requirements mentioned above is illegal. We reserve the right to extend, change, exchange or delete these rules if necessary.

If a team name has been wrongly seized, please file a support ticket with proof of ownership of the name.

Names which are restricted by law will not be accepted and will be deleted and punished respectively if found. Also, names which go against all forms of etiquette will not be accepted and deleted.

All players  of a team must share the same team-/ clan-tag in front of their nickname within their PUBG ID. This tag is not allowed to be longer than 5 characters.

Sponsor names as tags behind the player names or teamnames need to be approved on a case-to-case basis by the BEING ESPORTS administration team. They need to be clearly separated from the name (e.g. by a dot). To request a name with a respective sponsor added as tag you have to use a support ticket.

3.1.3  Account sharing

Each BEING ESPORTS account (on the beingesports.com website) is strictly personal and cannot be shared with other BEING ESPORTS users and/ or other players that don't have a BEING ESPORTS account.

The original registrant must always be the final user of the account, which cannot be lent or transferred in any case. This will be considered as account sharing or multi accounting and pursued according to this ruleset.

3.2        Teams

Only registered team members are allowed to play for a team. Playing in any matches with a ringer/fake account user is prohibited. Players and teams must compete under their officially registered PUBG team names and nicknames during all official matches.

If a team deletes its account because of a certain amount of active strikes and registers a new account, the strikes will be transferred to the new account. Strikes will always apply to single players or individually for all players in the team. Furthermore, additional warnings will be added for the attempted deception.

The logo must represent the team and have some reference to the team's name or to the team's short handle. Copyrighted logos, or logos which go against etiquette and good manners will not be accepted and deleted.

3.2.1  Changing team names

A team can change its name at any time. This also applies when a team is restructured.

Changing a team's name in order to fool other teams is forbidden. Extremely long names, or consistent changing of team names is prohibited and can be punished. Team names can be changed by opening a support case to contact a BEING ESPORTS admin. The admin may refuse the name change temporarily (e.g. when it is to be changed in an ongoing tournament or if it has been changed too often in a short amount of time).

3.2.2  Team nationality

In general, during matches of PUBG - BEING ESPORTS PUBG D/A/CH Sommermeisterschaft, at all times in-game a team must have 75% of its players that are residing in or have the nationality in the D/A/CH region. (It can have a not D/A/CH fourth player + a not D/A/CH stand-in though – nevertheless in the games 75% of the team ALWAYS have to be from the D/A/CH region or be officially currently resident in the region). This means a player's nationality must be of the D/A/CH region or his current residence must be in the D/A/CH region which can be proven by a current passport or another official document (if requested). Deliberately faking nationality is punishable and also includes the teammates of a player.

3.2.3  Players in team

A player may only play for one team in the BEING ESPORTS PUBG D/A/CH Sommermeisterschaft.

3.2.4  Sponsors/ partnerships

The BEING ESPORTS administration reserves the right to prohibit or remove teams with sponsors or partners that are solely or widely known for pornographic, drug use or other adult/mature themes and products from partaking in BEING ESPORTS Play events at any time.

4      Registration

The player- and team-registration is only valid by making use of the registration option on the beingesports.com website. Signing-up for tournaments is only possible during the sign-up phases for the respective tournaments/cups. These sign-up phases can be found and are communicated on the tournament sites and tabs that can be found on the beingesports.com website.

An automatic sign-up is not active.

5      Roster

Team rosters must consist of at least the minimum amount of four players and a maximum of five players.

Teams are only allowed to play with players on their roster with a registered game account. All roster changes must be made prior to the start of the league. Playing with different players and/or illegal ringers will result in punishment. The team must play with 4 registered players for the duration of the whole league. A substitution using a stand-in, who is also registered with the team, is allowed between games, when the substitute was already a registered part of the team before the respective matchday started. (see also 14.2 in this ruleset for more details)

The active roster for each matchday must consist of 3 players from the list of eligible countries (D/A/CH). To be eligible you have to be able to prove via an official document that you either have the nationality of Germany, Austria or Switzerland or are currently official resident in one of these countries.

When a team qualifies for the league in a qualifier, at least three players of the roster that qualified must be registered for the league-phase respectively for the team. If less than three players are registered in the team the slot for the league-phase is forfeited and will be passed on to a runner up contestant of the respective qualifier.

The team belongs to the team captain or team manager. This person can be a representative of an organization or club and does not have to be a player. The team belongs to the natural, individual person of the manager. In case an artificial person is to become the owner of a team a support ticket is to be created and approved by the beingesports.com administration or the Being X GmbH.

In case a team manager is to be added to the team (as non-playing person) a support ticket is to be created.

Roster changes during the season must be approved by the BEING ESPORTS administration and are not a right of any team or player by default. Furthermore, a team can only exchange a maximum of two players per season in case the changes are approved. Roster changes before finals will be carefully checked to avoid the habit having players from other leagues or teams on international level or anything alike enter the PUBG - BEING ESPORTS PUBG D/A/CH Sommermeisterschaft just for the finals. Please refrain from trying to acquire such an advantage.

The BEING ESPORTS reserves the right to refuse roster changes.

13  Regions

Being Esports currently hosts cups in Germany. 75% of the active roster for each matchday has to be from one of the D/A/CH countries. (See 3.2.2)

14   Details

14.1    Game preparations

Please resolve any problems that might occur before a match starts. Connection or hardware problems during a match could lead to a disqualification by Being Esports administrators. Make sure all players are eligible to play. In team games, all players must be registered for their corresponding team's roster.

14.2    Substitute players

It is only allowed to substitute a player before the match starts. If the match is started all players of a team must play the game until the end. It is possible to switch players between the maps. The team needs to contact an administrator of BEING ESPORTS before changing a player. A team is allowed to have 1 (one) substitute player per team. The substitute player must have been part of the roster before the tournament started.

14.3    No show

If a participant team cannot play at the scheduled start time, the team will not get any points for the match. BEING ESPORTS reserves the right to barrage players for repeated violation of this rule more severely with up to bans from BEING ESPORTS events in the future.

14.4    Number of players

Teams are allowed to play one match per matchday three players in squad tournaments, in case of technical problems.

14.5    Disconnects

In the case that players disconnect during a match, the team is allowed to continue to play the match at a disadvantage.

14.6    Forfeit

Participants can choose to forfeit a match if they wish. Forfeiting will result in 0 points from that match and possible penalty points, forfeiting a match within the first 15 minutes of a match will be considered as no-show.

14.7    Tiebreaker

In case of a tie in the results, the first tiebreaker will be the average placement of the teams during the latest round. In case they still tie the second tiebreaker will be the number of kills. If still tied the winner will be chosen randomly.

14.8    Protests

If a match was incorrectly reported into our system, your team has 10 minutes to protest (Discord support channel) the report. Match protests must include media evidence clearly showing the results of the match/series. Teams are responsible for providing proof of match results in case of disputes.

14.9    Re-host

A re-host can only be played with admin initiation. Disconnects and lag issues will only qualify for a re-host if the issue occurs within the first 60 seconds of the game and affects a significant amount of players, barring any unforeseen situations.

If more than 10% (rounded to the next full number) of players which were already connected to the pre-lobby are dropped by connection problems, the match will be re-hosted.

14.10  Observers

Observers are organized by BEING ESPORTS administrators and people that are given permission by an administrator (e.g. shoutcasters or streamers), not assigned observers are not allowed.

14.11 League and match system

Qualifiers:

All checked in teams will be drafted randomly into lobbies of the same size (maximum 1 team difference).

The qualifiers will be played in parallel lobbies in a best-of-six system.

Per qualifier day 8 teams will advance (respectively the best teams of each lobby equally).

In case the number of teams advancing cannot be divided by the number of lobbies there will be a tiebreaker decision. In this case the team who could acquire more points in their respective lobby will advance.

League phase:

There will be three (3) groups each consisting of eight (8) teams. The teams will be seeded into the groups accordingly to their placement in the qualifier. There will be at least 1 matchday per week and a maximum of three in case of technical issues. The common number of matchdays per week will be two (2).

Per matchday the teams of one group face the teams of another group in a best-of-five format. Each group will play two matchdays against every other team during the league phase amounting in a total of 60 Maps played during the league phase.

The teams will earn points during the matchdays respectively which add to 100% to an overall scoreboard with all teams listed.

The top 16 of the overall scoreboard after the league phase concluded will advance into the finals phase.

Finals Phase:

The finals will be played over three days with a best-of-six format. Prize pool will be contributed to the teams respectively seeded after the conclusion of the finals.

14.11  End of a game

A Game ends when only one team or members of only one team are alive and the “Winner-Screen” shows inside the game client.
